Surface Disinfection: What you need to know
Surface disinfection is commonly known to be spray surface, immediately wipe and then it is clean. But under the surface it is not, disinfection means using chemicals to kill germs on the surface. It is important to clean a surface before disinfecting, because dirt and grime can reduce the ability of disinfectants to kill germs. Surface disinfection is effective only when the disinfectant has enough time to work.
