After more than 20 years of service with Whiteley Corporation, Phil Clulow has announced his retirement at the end of November 2020. Phil has been our Company Secretary for more than 20 years, starting with the organization in 1999. In his time with the organisation Phil has held many roles including Chief Financial Officer, HR manager, and also led the Administration department.
Phil is the consummate Accounting and HR professional who has trained and mentored many members of the company. Several of Phil’s mentees are now members of the corporate leadership team, which is a testament to his ability to grow and develop future leaders.
Over the years Phil has provided excellent support and guidance to the Whiteley Board of Directors and Executive Team. Phil’s willingness to put in extra time and effort to help us reach deadlines has demonstrated a commitment to excellence that we have come to depend upon. Phil’s attention to detail, while keeping the broader picture in mind, has been invaluable.
Phil’s compassion for our staff has been relentless, as seen in his support and guidance for every person within the organisation. Outside of his busy work schedule Phil has maintained focus on his philanthropic activities and has been an active member of the Salvation Army helping countless people over the years.
Phil has been a terrific asset to the Whiteley business, a great colleague and friend and will be sorely missed by the Whiteley group.
