Hand Hygiene
Hand Hygiene is recognised as the single most important feature of an effective Infection Prevention & Control program. Effective hand hygiene practices reduce healthcare associated infections (HAIs). Whiteley Medical manufactures a range of hand hygiene products which are manufactured in Australia to International Standards.
Bactol Alcohol Gel Waterless Hand Cleanser (Aust R 155397) contains 70% v/v alcohol and uses natural emollients to replace the skin’s lipids which are removed by alcohol. Bactol Alcohol Gel maintains skin integrity leaving hands hygienic, soft and replenished.
Dermalux Hand Soap for Everyday Use is specifically designed for people who wash their hands frequently. Dermalux Everyday contains an ultra mild soap with a delicate peach fragrance and added moisturisers that help to prevent skin from drying out.
Sanitol is a uniquely formulated antibacterial hand sanitiser to prevent the spread of harmful germs. Surface Cleaning & Disinfection

Cleaning and disinfection of surfaces has become of paramount importance to every person within the healthcare environment. Whiteley Medical is the technical pioneer of surface disinfection in both Australia and Internationally.
Instrumax Pink is specially formulated and the only approved Instrument Grade Disinfectant (Low Level) within Australia. Instrumax Pink helps reduce the risk of cross infection and is suitable for use on non medical applications including training masks, mannequins (CPR training), self contained underwater breathing apparatus and nebuliser face masks.
Lemex is a neutral, non-destructive, non-corrosive general-use cleaner and reodourant with a pleasant lemon fragrance. Lemex is suitable for surface cleaning and use on other Class 1 Medical Devices. Using Lemex as directed ensures Healthcare facilities comply with current healthcare regulations.
Mediclean uses emulsion system technology that enhances its ability to remove oils and dirt that are encountered in everyday cleaning and surface disinfection. Mediclean is a ready to use neutral detergent that gives a streak free finish on surfaces.
Sansol is an acid based Hospital Grade Disinfectant with excellent biocidal properties. Proven to kill HIV, Hep B Virus and Odour causing bacteria. Speedy Clean Wipes are excellent ready-to-use hospital grade, anionic neutral detergent wipes which leaves a streak free finish on surfaces. Ideal for cleaning surfaces and equipment in health-related environments. The single-use application improves infection control by avoiding cross contamination.
SURFEX is a soluble Phenolic Disinfectant/Detergent designed as a wide-spectrum bactericide specifically for use in Hospitals and in other environments where efficient, rapid killing of pathogenic micro-organisms is essential in the general context of infection control.

Instrument Cleaning & Disinfection
Instrument cleaning is a science. Products used to perform this critical function must be specifically formulated, quality controlled and safely and conveniently packaged. Whiteley Medical has developed a range of instrument cleaners and disinfectants for infection control and sterilising processes with healthcare.
Aidal Plus is a stable, odour suppressed, mildly acidic 2% glutaraldehyde based sterilant suitable for use in Hospitals, Dental/Medical Surgeries and Veterinary Hospitals for the Sterilisation and High Level Disinfection of Critical and Semi Critical Medical Devices.
CliniMax is a mildly alkaline, non-hazardous, multipurpose detergent for Medical and Dental applications that is specifically formulated to meet the requirements of AS/NZS 4187 - 2003 and AS/NZS 4815 - 2006. CliniMax can be used for manual and ultrasonic instrument cleaning, equipment cleaning and also for the cleaning of environmental surfaces such as surgical tables, lighting, benches and trolleys.
World leading Biofilm Remover! Matrix™ removes conventional biological soils and bacterial biofilms on medical devices. Matrix™ is specifically intended for use on endoscopes (rigid and flexible), dental instruments, complex medical devices and instruments.

Medac is an efficient descaling product used for brightening stainless steel instruments, utensils, steel benches and trolleys. Medac aids in the removal of scale and soil deposits in sterilisers, washing/disinfectors, ultrasonic machines, anaesthetic apparatus decontaminators, dish washing machines and hot water soaking baths.
Medi-Dry Concentrate Rinse Aid produces fast spot free and streak free drying of medical devices and instruments in automated washer/disinfectors. Medi-Dry Concentrate acts as a mild foam suppressant in all single tank machines.
Medi-Gleam is a concentrated alkaline, non-foaming detergent intended for heavy-duty machine washing. Medi-Gleam effectively removes biological soils from medical devices and is useful in hospital washer/disinfectors, utensil washers and pan washers.
Medirinse liquid rinse aid is designed as a water dispersant for use in clinical and laboratory washer/disinfectors. Medirinse ensures rapid drying of instruments and utensils during cleaning.
Medizyme proteolytic enzyme cleaner rapidly solubilises and removes blood and other protein deposits with minimal physical effort and without the use of cleaning equipment and abrasive or corrosive action.
Sonex is a highly active detergent free from phosphate, dyes and odour. Sonex is specifically formulated or use in clinical and anaesthetic automatic washing machines. Sonex is ideal for use in hard or soft water.
Sonidet is a highly active, bacteriostatic, neutral detergent specifically designed for both machine and manual cleaning operations in healthcare. Sonidet is odourless, non-staining and safely removes hospital and surgical soils.
