Hand Hygiene
Hand Hygiene is recognised as the cornerstone of an effective Infection Prevention and Control program. Effective hand hygiene programs have shown to significantly reduce healthcare associated infections (HAIs) especially in dentistry. Whiteley Medical understands the importance of hand hygiene practices in dentistry and has developed a range of products and programs to effectively reduce HAI's.
Bactol Alcohol Gel Waterless Hand Cleanser (Aust R 155397) contains 70% v/v alcohol and uses natural emollients to replace the skin’s lipids which are removed by alcohol. Bactol Alcohol Gel maintains skin integrity leaving hands hygienic, soft and replenished.
Dermalux for Everyday Use is an ultra mild soap for hand and body washing. Dermalux for Everyday Use is specifically designed for people who wash their hands frequently it contains an ultra mild soap with a delicate peach fragrance and added moisturisers that helps to prevent skin from drying out.
Dermalux Natural Hand and Body Wash is specifically designed for sensitive and dry skin. It is an ultra-comforting pearlescent creme soap free from perfumes or dyes. Dermalux Natural is pH balanced to maintain skin integrity.
Instrument Cleaning & Disinfection
The instruments used in dentistry are often very delicate and expensive and the chemicals used to clean instruments need to be specially formulated to effectively clean and disinfect without harming the instruments or users. Whiteley Medical has developed a range of instrument cleaners and disinfectants specifically for use in Dentistry.
CliniMax is a mildly alkaline, non-hazardous, multipurpose detergent for Medical and Dental applications that is specifically formulated to meet the requirements of AS/NZS 4187 - 2003 and AS/NZS 4815 - 2006. CliniMax can be used for manual and ultrasonic instrument cleaning, equipment cleaning and also for the cleaning of environmental surfaces such as surgical tables, lighting, benches and trolleys.
Instrumax Pink is specially formulated and the only approved Instrument Grade Disinfectant (Low Level) within Australia. Instrumax Pink helps reduce the risk of cross infection and is suitable for use on non medical applications including training masks, mannequins (CPR training), self contained underwater breathing apparatus and nebuliser face masks.
Matrix™ removes conventional biological soils and bacterial biofilms on medical devices. Matrix™ is specifically intended for use on endoscopes (rigid and flexible), dental instruments, complex medical devices and instruments.
